Canvas and Repairs

We can supply new covers for your existing Clipper chairs, in a choice of either Planosol or Sunbrella canvases. Please note we are unable to do covers for other brands at present due to pressure of other work, and cannot help with metal or wicker chairs.

We can also supply most of these fabrics at $40 per metre (width 117cm or 120 cm). Plains and simple stripes are usually between $40 and $53.It is a heavy fabric to sew (if your machine can chomp through turning up the seamed bits on the bottoms of jeans it will probably cope) and it is important to use a heavy uv-protected thread or the stitching will give up long before the canvas does. Spotlight carry Gutermann Extra Strong Thread which is UV protected and comes in smaller cones.

We can also supply new covers for the folding chairs we sell, in any of the colours shown in the links above.

REPAIRS- PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN'T DO RECOVERING OR REPAIRS FROM 15 SEPTEMBER UNTIL 31 MARCH DUE TO PRESSURE OF OTHER WORK. WE CAN SEW CLIPPER COVERS FOR YOU TO PUT ON YOURSELF.

If your furniture is from Clipper, we can repair it,but some pieces may be beyond economic repair .We need to see the piece, or a photograph, to be able to quote.. We regret that we cannot mend umbrellas or furniture from other retailers.
